Community Care
This 2-day course trains community members to manage mental health crises during disasters and emergencies. The curriculum enhances skills in psychological first aid, trauma response, resilience building, and self-care. Through interactive scenarios, evidence-based teachings, and expert-led discussions, participants will gain the competence and confidence to handle complex situations.
We also offer a 1-day course tailored for community leaders, including school principals, religious leaders, scoutmasters, city council members, public health officials, business leaders, and community activists. This course addresses the challenges of making difficult decisions, answering critical questions, and taking necessary mitigation actions.
P.S.E. Objective: Empower your community for self-sustaining success. We equip you with the knowledge to prevent and mitigate mental health crises, aiming to eradicate violence rooted in mental health issues. Our goal is to ensure you’re prepared before our Expeditionary Psych Support (E.P.S.) teams are ever needed.
